FaithTech Chicago: Leveraging Technology to Fight Human Trafficking

We believe that the integration of faith and technology leads to incredible solutions for the good of our city and the world.

Join us Thursday, September 20th for an unforgettable evening with Tiffany Moeller, a data scientist and active member of the Chicagoland anti-trafficking community. As a founding board member of Refuge for Women (Chicago), Tiffany helped launch a residential aftercare program for survivors of sex trafficking and is currently collaborating with other local non-profits engaged in direct outreach and intervention for individuals currently in situations of exploitation.

As more trafficking victims are advertised and sold online, many non-profits are facing new challenges in identifying and engaging with potential victims. Join us as Tiffany shares how technology can be leveraged as a force multiplier in the fight against exploitation and human trafficking in Chicago and how developers can specifically address some of the emerging challenges faced by anti-trafficking organizations today.

Interested in contributing to work like this? There may be an opportunity to join this project in collaboration with local non-profits during our November Hackathon!

If you are a technologist, developer, business leader, pastor, non-profit volunteer, or simply interested in this conversation, we'd love to have you join us! Snacks and coffee provided.

The event is free, but there is limited seating at this venue, please register ASAP. Because our tickets are limited, please cancel your spot if your plans should change prior to the event.
